Hi, I realize I'm years late but I finally ...WAAAAAAY late started cleaning my basic Primo unit (just hot & cold water). As I was doing it, I got to wondering if I never ever use the hot water side, the heat switch is turned off, is there water sitting in a reservoir going rancid, stale & nasty because that side is never used? I'm wondering if my unit shares funky water from the hot tank w/ my everyday used cold water side. If I never use the hot / heated side is it contaminating the cold water. IF there IS co-mingling of the different waters at all, is there a way to simply stop water from entering the hot tank and sealing off the exit from that tank so it is simply no longer part of any loop? Any help from ANYONE ONE on this subject would be greatly appreciated! I've loved my basic Primo unit but if I can't come up with an answer to this, I'll just give the damned thing away to someone that will use both sides equally, thus keeping fresh water moving thru the entire unit.. Bro, as much as I know you didn’t fix sh*t on this, what you DID do, is showed me what MO OTHER VIDEO (for fixing a Primo water dispenser) did; and that was how to open the front. So THANK YOU! I’ve got a slow trickle leak from the top portion of my top loader Primo dispenser, so HOPEFULLY now knowing how to get that front part open will help me fix it. Thanks again!

My 3.5 year old primo dispenser recently started leaking, there would be a pretty decent sized pool in front of it within a few hours. I decided to tear it apart to try and solve the issue before throwing it away. Your video helped a ton in gauging how to gain access to all of the hoses throughout. They're all connected via small zipties, some of mine weren't tight to begin with. I ended up putting new medium sized zipties on all of the lines. I am praying it's fixed, it hasn't leaked yet and I'm hoping it stays that way 🙏 it's always been reliable, I hope I fixed it Thank you so much for the video ☺️

I was always wondering. Is this type of top load better or worse than other type of top load and front load? In my country, there is this 6kg machine like this one (appearently WITH function of drying clothes) and i wonder if this type of machine is good or not. Fun fact, in my country, there are almost no top loads like this.
